Clear guidelines, independent reviews

More and more people ask for natural cosmetics. However, surprisingly, there is still no binding definition of what can be labelled "natural cosmetics" - no political requirements and (still) no ISO standard. People like us, who are serious about it, go against the flow: we want clear criteria for everyone, so that where "nature" is on it, really only nature is in it.

How do we ensure that in our products?

We source our ingredients from reputable suppliers and have the independent verification authenticated. Ingredients labelled as "Organic" are certified by the independent testing organization ECOCERT in accordance with the rigorous, internationally agreed COSMOS standard and the ECOCERT guidelines for natural and organic cosmetics. Our other ingredients are also - as confirmed by ECOCERT – following their guidelines for natural and organic cosmetics.

We only use substances from the positive list of the BDIH. Accordingly, all our products are guaranteed NOT to contain the following substances:

  • Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) and Polyethylene Glycols (PEG)
  • Parabens
  • Synthetic colours and fragrances
  • Petrochemical / mineral oil products
  • Synthetic aluminium compounds
  • Propylene and butylene glycol
  • Emulsifiers from ethylene oxide
  • Animal-derived glycerine
  • Substances from killed animals
  • Unnecessary fillers and additives
  • Substances from genetically modified organisms (GMOs)

In addition, we do not conduct any animal testing on our products in accordance with EU Regulation 1223/2009.

We are a young company, which we built with our own hands - in the competition for the most colourful labels and awards, we are disadvantaged compared to the established cosmetic empires. However, we will continue to make our cosmetics transparent and understandable and independently checked - and of course, we curiously await how the international struggle for a clear ISO standard turns out!
